South of England Showground at Ardingly in Sussex, RH17 6TL
How do I get there?
By road (from the M23)
Exit the M23 at junction 10 and take the A264 towards East Grinstead. At the first roundabout, continue straight along the A264. At the second roundabout, turn right and head towards Haywards Heath along the B2028. The Showground is signposted at this roundabout. Just before you reach the village of Ardingly you will see the entrances to the South of England Showground on your right-hand side. If you’re using a Sat Nav, the South of England Showground postcode (RH17 6TL) will take you to the main entrance.
By rail
The nearest railway station is Haywards Heath, which is on the main line between London and Brighton. Journey times are 45 minutes from London and 20 minutes from Brighton followed by a 10-minute journey by bus or taxi to the South of England Showground. By bus
There is a bus stop situated close to the main entrance to the Showground with a service on the 272 Metrobus route. (Note – there is no service on Sundays or Public Holidays.) Shuttle buses run for the South of England Show.
By plane
The South of England Showground is located 20 minutes away (by road) from Gatwick Airport.
Is there disabled car parking?
Yes there will be blue badge parking. Visitors just need to show the badge to the marshals to be directed there
Will there be toilets on site?
Yes, there are a number of toilets at the showground.
Are there baby change facilities?
Yes.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are permitted on leads.
Can I camp at the show?
Public camping is not permitted at the National Amateur Gardening Show.
Can tickets be purchased on the day?
Absolutely! Tickets are priced at £15 on the day with a weekend ticket option of £30 at the gate. Save money and buy your tickets in advance here.
Do children require a ticket?
Children under 15 years do not need to buy a ticket. But they do need to register.
Is there a cash point on site?
There will be no cash point on site.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Absolutely! Though there will be food and drink available to purchase at the show.
Do I need to pre-book any of the talks or tastings?
You do not need to pre-book any of the expert talks or tastings at the show. However, space will be limited so make sure you get to your preferred talk early to ensure a place.
